ABOUT ME
Arjun Bansal is a London-born, Sikh designer with expertise in Footwear & Accessories. My skills lie in designing, sketching, ideation & Adobe Suite, creating forward-thinking and innovative products.
As a recent of the University of the Arts London, I developed a diverse skill set in footwear design, enhancing my sketching and digital design skills for creating detailed prototypes. I gained expertise in materials and construction, improving my ability to select fabrics and implement design solutions. My research into market trends and consumer needs fostered innovative thinking while collaborative projects strengthened my teamwork abilities. These skills resulted in a bursary award from the worshipful Cordwainers group during my second year and Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) at the end of my studies.
I currently have two years of working experience within the industry with London sneaker brand “notwoways”, operating as a CMF & Footwear designer. This experience has been invaluable to me as it has allowed me to hone my design skills as well as presentation skills, helping the brand with collaboration projects and sell out releases.
